Leap Into Life
I should've posted this on Friday (before I left for my girl scout campout), but oh well. The campout went great... not much drama. We did the ropes course and did a trail ride! Well, here's the unique post you probably weren't waiting for... but will read anyway.
As a girl scout, I love going on campouts, but today, I'm going to talk about how to be mentally prepared for a girl scout campout. This is a great way to procrastinate, but be sure you pack, as well! You can break up this part up preparation into four steps. I'll elaborate on them, too. 1. Be prepared to live with close friends (and people you don't like) for the next 48 hours.
Well, I hope this helps. Just so you all know, I leave today, and I get back on Sunday. I'll hopefully blog on Sunday, but until then... wish me luck on my campout!

At first, I was like: this is probably a really weird idea for a post, but then I decided that all my posts are pretty unique. I guess you all should be used to it by now. I was looking at an email I sent to a science lab group member a little while ago. Part of me was thinking: I can't believe I actually sent this. The other part was thinking: wow that felt awesome! Here are my steps to writing a dramatic email. For the sake of my lab group members, I won't share the email. I'll just share parts of it (I'm referencing it as I write).
Why Dramatic Email? Recently, I was working on a biome project in my science class with two other people (one hardworking friend, one lazy lab member). I was done and so was my friend. The only thing left was the conclusion (the other member's job). I sent one polite email. After no response and no action, I decided I needed a dramatic email! I was pretty proud of it, and the boy did the work.
There's something thrilling about coming up with an original quote. I mean, everyone I share them with thinks I'm crazy, but I like my quotes and that's what matters. Quotes can impact lives, so maybe some of my quotes will change yours. Or give you a new perspective. I thought I'd share some of my favorite/most unique quotes with you today. I also wrote the inspiration because all quotes have inspiration.
*I would love it if you want to quote me, I would be so honored. My only request is that you say it was said by E.V.N (that's my writer/quoter name)*
Easter is one of my favorite holidays for many reasons, and you may have noticed that this post is categorized under "thinker". Why? I decided to take a common tradition and give it a meaning in my life. An Egg Hunt! Can you see the orange egg? When you hide easter eggs, they are always in view. If you look hard enough, you can always find them, but when we look around so quickly, we can't see them. It's kind of like life and opportunities and answers. I'm always looking for opportunities to make my dreams come true. Maybe, if I look hard enough at the things right in front of me, I'll find that something to help me on the path of my dreams is right there. Okay, it doesn't work with everything, but I'll try to find some examples.
Candy (well mostly chocolate)! It made me so happy. You may have noticed the big bowl of candy up there. It was collected from all the easter eggs that we hunted down. Well, I tried to think of something I could say about chocolate. Chocolate makes me happy and it can make others happy, so I will propose to you what I thought of today. It's a random act of kindness egg hunt. Here are the instructions (note: I didn't actually do this this year- I want to next year):
Well, Happy Easter, and I hope you'll find some of the eggs in your life. I am a dreamer, so naturally, I have a lot of dreams. A lot. While you follow me through life as a teenager, you'll find that I make progress towards some of my dreams- at least I hope I do. I decided that I needed a list of them, so here is my first post, and it is a list of all my lifetime dreams.
